Features
This release of Pivotal Postgres updates the PostgreSQL database version to 10.11.
Version 10.11 includes numerous bug fixes and improvements, as highlighted in https://www.postgresql.org/about/news/1994/. See E.1.2. Changes in the PostgreSQL 10.11 Release Notes for a complete list of changes.
The format of the version string for Pivotal Postgres has changed from Postgres x.y-z.platform-pivotal
to PostgreSQL x.y (Pivotal Postgres x.y.z)
.
Upgrading to Pivotal Postgres 10.11

Known Issues and Limitations
- You cannot install Pivotal Postgres alongside an existing Red Hat Enterprise Linux PostgreSQL installation.
- Pivotal does not support using the deprecated XML2 module.
- All software components in this release, including the client ODBC and JDBC drivers, are supported only on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) version 7 and CentOS 7 systems.
